Welcome to gamED!

On March 1st, the project Gamification for Developing Essential Competencies in Youth Work  (abbreviated gamED) has officially started.
It is a project developed by the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation in partnership with organizations and universities from 3 countries: WUS Med and Blue Room Innovation from Spain, Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal and Produções Fixe Unipessoal Lda from Portugal and Vasile Alecsandri University from Bacau, Romania.

The project involves the development within 24 months of 4 tools based on the gamification process, tools that will be addressed to youth workers in order to develop and train essential skills in working with young people.


? #gamED proposes a complex multi-layered intervention through a project that follows to develop the capacity of professionals working with youth in non-formal and formal education contexts in order to improve the quality of programs aiming at developing key competencies that lead to a successful life and in the same time instilling in youth core values of fairness, social justice, non-discrimination, involvement in the community.

? All of these by gaining essential competencies of gamification and game design which will support them in developing and delivering innovative curriculums.
