Hello and welcome to the fifth and final chapter of this journey through our course module: "Engagement and active learning - Advanced".

If you want to go deeper into the methodology of online teaching, the instructional design module and the gamification module will teach you more complex methods (which can be used online, but also face to face).

However, here is a list of methods and techniques that you can have in mind in order to diversify your teaching.

Methods should serve the purpose of the sequence, so make sure you don’t use them in excess - they are not an aim in itself! But also, online teaching and learning are much more static, so using varied methods is important. So we hope you will find the right balance in using them. Let’s see…
